J&T Express continuously explores various green and sustainable logistics solutions. We firmly believe that companies are obliged to take action to make changes, and create a better future for the earth.

Implementing packaging reduction

In order to reduce the excessive packaging and the waste, we promote the use of narrower sealing tapes throughout the network, and designed and developed the "RED BOX" recycling box.

Promoting the usage of recycle transfer bags

J&T has placed more than 17 million recycle transfer bags, which can effectively improve the efficiency of sorting centers while reducing waste and pollution. It is estimated that compared with the original disposable woven bag, each usage of the recycle transfer bag can reduce carbon emission by about 169g.

Investing in natural gas tractor

We actively promote the application of natural gas tractors, which can effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 20% per vehicle compared to traditional diesel tractors.

Equipping standardized recycling boxes

Reuse or centralised treatment of the recovered express packages can reduce the burden on the earth.

Implementing single electronic waybills on global network

Compared with traditional sheets, single electronic waybill can save 80% of paper consumables; compared with two-copy bills, each can save 45 percent of thermal paper consumables.

Investing in solar power generation equipment

To further explore the green transformation of the express delivery industry, we invested 1,302 square meters of solar power generation equipment in Taiyuan Transshipment Center in Shanxi, China.

Promoting "green delivery"

We actively promote the use of environmentally friendly means of transportation such as new energy vehicles and battery cars in terminal outlets. Green delivery will help to protect our homes.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, J&T Express takes active actions in each we operate, for example, donating anti-epidemic materials and providing transportation support to local governments and people, reducing the impact of the epidemic on residents' lives in various ways, and working with local communities to overcome difficulties.
Material donation and transportation support
On February 29, 2020, J&T Express China, which has not been officially launched at that time, donated 8,000 sets of protective clothing, 500,000 pairs of medical gloves and more than 60,000 medical masks (including 7,860 N95 masks), and entrusted Zhuoer Public Welfare Foundation to deliver them to each key medical institution, to help Wuhan fight the epidemic. In February 2021, J&T Express Malaysia donated 60,000 masks each to the Kuala Lumpur Fire Station and Pahang Police Station. In May 2021, J&T Express Singapore helps the Tampines community transport relief supplies.
Corporate responsibility for epidemic prevention
J&T Express employees get vaccinated. J&T Express Vietnam offers employees who get vaccinated badges, 'I have been vaccinated against Covid-19', making customers feel safe to send and receive express.
